It not only extends the receiver but also provides 2 inches of drop or 2 inches of rise. It is great for adjusting the height of a ball mount, bike rack or other hitch accessories. It has a max weight capacity of 7,500 lbs. This raised hitch adapter extension is also ideal for dinghy towing, allowing you to level your tow bar with the vehicle base plates.
